In this organization we choose to presuppose the best intention of the other even if what they do or the decision they make harms me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is another principle of personal effectiveness. When I let myself go and assume the worst intention of my partner when he makes a decision or performs an action that harms me, that makes me feel angry or frustrated and leads me to distance or confrontation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I choose proactively, to choose his best intention, that makes me curious, surprised, disconcerting and leads me to approach, to ask what has led him to make the decision he has made. Once I have the complete drawing, with all the information, I make the most effective decision for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you ask yourself if you have made many decisions with the intention of harming a colleague, the answer is probably no. If I have well-oiled relationships, and there is a relationship of trust with my colleagues, it will be easier for all of us to assume the best intention of the other.
